UAE rider Omar Al Marzooqi concludes FEI Jumping World Championship campaign in Aachen

AACHEN, Germany: In the Individual Final of the FEI Jumping World Championship, UAE rider Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi secured a 13th-place finish, marking a significant achievement on the world stage at the young age of 23. Among the 25 remaining combinations out of the initial 146, Al Marzooqi placed 15th to conclude the final day, narrowly missing out on a top 12 finish.

The Emirati rider's strong performance solidified his position among the leading riders of a new generation in international show jumping, as he currently ranks 87th in the Longines Rankings and sixth in the FEI Jumping U25 Ranking. UAE Chef d’Equipe William Funnell commended Al Marzooqi's exceptional performance, stating that the 23-year-old's achievement further demonstrates his level of competition.

The Aachen result adds another major championship performance to Al Marzooqi's growing record, following his Olympic debut in Paris 2024 and previous wins at the Asian Games Hangzhou in 2023 and the Youth Olympic Games in 2018.
