Ronke Oshodi-Oke defends accepting cash to support political figures

Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke, widely known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke, has revealed her reasons for supporting politicians in exchange for financial support. During an interview with African A-List on YouTube, she addressed the issue of her connection to political figures. Oshodi-Oke, who has been in the entertainment industry for many years, emphasized that her interactions with politicians were driven by her need to make a living.

She urged people not to insult or criticize her if they encounter her with political figures, explaining that her presence was a means to provide for herself and her family. The actress also touched on her relationship with fellow actress Sotayo Gaga, revealing that they had not spoken in over five years due to a disagreement. However, Gaga later showed her support by sending Oshodi-Oke a sum of N150,000 when she was unwell.

Oshodi-Oke also discussed her personal life, including her struggles with health, marriage, and motherhood, as well as her decision to join the Celestial Church of Christ during her health challenges. The actress highlighted that she did not condemn those who followed other religious paths.
