Netanyahu says Unrwa raid carried out in accordance with law, Ben Gvir says UN agency 'in our hands'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed that the recent Israeli military operation to dismantle the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) facility in the West Bank was conducted in accordance with legal directives and the laws of the State of Israel. In a statement shared through his official account on X, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel will not tolerate any organization whose personnel have participated in terrorist activities, including the October 7 massacres, to maintain operations within its borders.

He further stated that the Israeli government is prepared to take all necessary actions against such entities.

In a separate development, Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who was present during the raid on the UNRWA facility, posted a photograph of the site along with the caption "UNRWA in our hands" on his official social media account. This statement suggests a strong Israeli assertion of control over the territory that once housed the UNRWA facility, following its alleged involvement in recent security incidents.
