LG Innotek Recruits Global Talent in Los Angeles

LG Innotek is ramping up its efforts to attract global talent in order to bolster its long-term business competitiveness. On August 25th, the company hosted an overseas recruitment event called 'Inno Connect' at the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The gathering aimed to attract top-tier talent from prestigious American universities to learn about LG Innotek's vision and technological prowess.

Approximately 30 master's and doctoral students, along with seasoned professionals, from 16 leading American universities attended this year's event. These institutions included Stanford University, California Institute of Technology, Yale University, and UCLA. Their research areas align closely with LG Innotek's future growth sectors, such as physical AI, which encompasses robotics and autonomous driving, advanced packaging, and next-generation optics.

The semiconductor substrate business and physical AI are areas where LG Innotek is making significant strides to upgrade its business portfolio, due to their high growth potential and profitability. Jon Min, the company's Chief Technology Officer, who participated in the event, expressed his hope that the attendees would leverage their full potential at LG Innotek.

He emphasized the company's commitment to providing optimal opportunities and an environment conducive to professional growth, leading to becoming leading players in the physical AI era.

To further enhance its global business capabilities, LG Innotek runs an annual 'Global Internship' program, offering opportunities to international and study-abroad students from diverse international and domestic universities and graduate schools. Promising interns who excel during the internship are then incorporated into the company as full-time employees.
