DA KZN mourns passing of eThekwini councillor, Welekazi Sibiya

The Democratic Alliance (DA) in KwaZulu-Natal mourns the passing of eThekwini Metro councillor Welekazi Sibiya. The party described Sibiya as a passionate young leader who was deeply committed to the communities she served. Known for advocating on behalf of residents, raising tough issues and pushing for better governance, Sibiya demonstrated a strong dedication to public service.

The DA emphasized that her influence transcended her council work, highlighting her as a promising leader with great potential and a genuine love for public service. The party expressed that her loss was a significant one, both to the DA, eThekwini and the province of KZN. They remembered her for her courage, unwavering commitment and willingness to champion her constituents' interests.
