California mass stabbing: Knifeman arrested after 30-minute rampage in Oakland; one dead and four injured

On Monday night, a stabbing spree unfolded in Oakland, California, leaving one person dead and four others injured, according to the NY Post. The perpetrator, a knife-wielding man, attacked multiple locations throughout the city, including Cesar Chavez Park, the Fruitvale BART station, and International Boulevard. The first victim was found in Cesar Chavez Park and later died from their injuries.

Two other victims are in critical condition, while the remaining two are stable. Local witnesses helped police locate the suspect near 39th Avenue, where he was apprehended after a brief foot chase.
