BREAKING: Tinubu orders immediate rescue of Niger mosque abduction victims

President Bola Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, and all pertinent security and intelligence agencies to expedite efforts to rescue victims of the Niger mosque abduction. This was reported by President Tinubu's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement released on Tuesday.

Tinubu expressed his outrage over the abduction and killing of innocent citizens by criminal elements in the state, emphasizing that those responsible are enemies of peace and humanity, who will not escape justice. He offered his deepest condolences to the families of those killed, praying for their eternal rest and strength for their surviving loved ones.

President Tinubu assured the nation that they are not alone in their anguish and pledged to bring the abducted back safely. He instructed Service Chiefs to provide him with regular updates on the rescue operation progress until all victims are accounted for. Tinubu reiterated that terror will not intimidate Nigeria, stressing the importance of defending people, protecting communities, and preserving human life.
