ALGON Deputy Chair Commends Tinubu for Appointing Mbah Southeast Campaign Coordinator

Enugu State Deputy Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Ugo-Ferdinand Ukwueze, has lauded President Bola Tinubu for selecting Governor Peter Mbah as the Southeast campaign coordinator for the 2027 general election. Ukwueze, who also chairs Igboeze South Local Government Area, made the commendation in Enugu.

Ukwueze expressed confidence in Mbah's ability to secure the entire Southeast for Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). He highlighted Mbah's capacity to transform political vision into tangible development, noting that the governor's administration had re-established trust in the government's ability to deliver meaningful results.

Mbah's strong grassroots connections have earned him widespread respect, according to Ukwueze. The deputy chairman highlighted that Mbah possesses the necessary courage, exposure, and administrative skills to effectively mobilize the Southeast on behalf of President Tinubu. He further stated that Mbah understands the people's aspirations and has the political clout to engage stakeholders across various spheres, including party structures, traditional institutions, community leaders, and the broader electorate.

Ukwueze emphasized that the President's confidence in Mbah underscores the governor's increasing influence and capability to bridge differences among diverse interests.
