A foreign man was filmed fleeing a Pattaya bar after allegedly leaving without paying a bill reportedly worth around 50,000 Thai baht. The footage, shared on Facebook by Newshawk Phuket, sparked controversy among Thai netizens. In the video, a group of Thai individuals, including motorcycle taxi drivers, chase the foreign man on foot as he tries to escape the establishment.

He is seen wearing a black T-shirt, beige shorts, flip-flops, and a cap. The man can be heard repeatedly shouting "Help me!" as he continues to run. Eventually, one of the motorcycle taxi drivers catches him, and he is seen lying shirtless on the beach, appearing to have injuries. The video also shows another foreign individual in the footage informing the foreign man that he owes approximately 50,000 baht to the bar.

The video's release on social media prompted mixed reactions from Thai netizens. Some criticized the foreign man for allegedly leaving without paying, while others questioned the reported amount, suggesting it seemed unusually high. Some users even alleged that the bar might have attempted to overcharge the foreign individual, citing similar incidents in the past.
