2 hurt in water slide mishap at Melaka theme park

Two women were injured after allegedly falling from an inflatable raft while riding a water slide at a theme park in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, on Saturday afternoon. Melaka Tengah police chief Halim Abas stated that the 46-year-old victim had a blood clot in her head, while the 31-year-old suffered a concussion and head injuries. The women, on a family holiday, were using a double raft with one seated in front and the other at the back.

The raft collided with an object while sliding, causing one woman's head to hit the wall, leading both to lose consciousness. Both women were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. A CT scan revealed a blood clot on the right side of the 46-year-old's head, along with injuries to her chin, knee, and chest. The 31-year-old victim could not recall the incident and was found to have also suffered a concussion and body aches.
