Ten injured after roller coaster suffers technical failure at Subang Jaya theme park

Ten people were injured when a roller coaster experienced a technical failure at a Subang Jaya theme park on Saturday night, according to police. No fatalities were reported in the incident, which occurred around 9 pm. The Subang Jaya district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, stated that the incident was reported at 11.45 am the following day.

Initial investigations revealed that 22 passengers, ranging in age from 11 to 44 and comprising locals and foreign tourists, were on the ride at the time of the failure. Ten of the victims sustained injuries and were taken to medical facilities for treatment, all of which were classified as minor. The injured individuals were the sole casualties of the event, with no fatalities reported.

Police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident and have urged the public not to speculate.
