TCS acquires Porsche arm for Rs 3,575 cr, signs 5-year deal

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is set to acquire Porsche AG's management and IT consulting subsidiary, MHP Management-und IT-Beratung GmbH (MHP), for around Rs 3,575 crore, as part of a strategic partnership. The €320 million deal (approximately Rs 13,967 crore) includes a five-year strategic agreement between TCS, Porsche, and MHP.

TCS will establish an AI Mobility Centre of Excellence for Porsche to drive innovation in manufacturing, engineering, operations, and customer experience. This partnership aims to industrialize AI at scale for Porsche, accelerating innovation across the mobility value chain. The collaboration will leverage Porsche's automotive expertise and TCS' digital technology and AI capabilities.

The five-year business strategic deal between Porsche and TCS will strengthen TCS' presence in the German market and among European automotive and industrial customers. Both companies will collaborate to embed AI across intelligent manufacturing, engineering, operations, and customer experience.
