Reel stars’ year-long feud, social media trolling end in midnight ambush at Pune cafe

A year-long feud between two Pune-based reel stars, Madhavi Rajesh Kumbhar and Atharva Pramod Jagtap, escalated into a violent midnight ambush when they were attacked inside a cafe on Independence Day. The dispute began with a minor road accident in Satara district, which led to a public feud on social media. Police arrested 12 individuals in connection with the incident, including the primary conspirators, a notorious criminal, and the cafe's owner and manager.

The attack took place around 3:30 am at Cafe Flying Gypsy, where Atharva was attempting to leave the premises after being chased inside by a history-sheeter named Rahul Sitaram Waghmare. Police used CCTV footage to apprehend the suspects, who faced charges of attempt to murder and illegally operating the venue past midnight.
