Qatar Foundation opens registration for 2027 "Akhlaquna" award

The Qatar Foundation's Pre-University Education division has launched the registration process for the 2027 Akhlaquna Award. The submission deadline for all entries is December 17, 2026. This year's competition welcomes applications from four age groups: children aged 7 to 14, teenagers aged 15 to 18, young adults aged 18 to 25, and individuals aged 25 to 45 from Qatar and the Gulf region.

Established in 2017, the Akhlaquna Award has honored those who have demonstrated ethical values through impactful initiatives and projects. Over the years, the program has aimed to foster a culture of values-driven community engagement. Project Manager Ahmed Yousuf Al Malki emphasized the importance of this milestone, stating that it reflects the award's success in turning ethical values into real-world changes.

Al Malki highlighted the expansion of the Award's reach this year, targeting a wider audience of young people to inspire them to transform their beliefs into actions and initiatives that create positive societal impacts. The evaluation process considers both the project's impact and the participant's personal contribution, emphasizing the significance of youth in driving positive change.

Al Malki encouraged applicants to recognize that no significant resources are needed to make a difference, urging them to start with their own communities and the values they hold dear. He reminded participants that the Akhlaquna Award looks for more than just an outstanding project but for individuals who embody values, translate them into action, and make a genuine positive impact on others' lives.
