Recently, a video emerged showing several individuals blocking a highway near the Linkedua Expressway for the benefit of a forbidden race that took place in Johor on Saturday. Petaling Jaya: Eight individuals, including a supposed influencer, are suspected of involvement in the video due to blocking the highway during the illegal race.

A warrant for arrest has been issued by Magistrate R Salini of Kulai Sessions Court following a police application under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This allows the police to conduct investigations under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. Saturday evening, Johor Police Chief Ab Rahaman Arsad announced that all suspects were arrested at 11:54 am by a team of officers and traffic enforcement personnel from the IPD Kulai Investigation and Enforcement Department.

The video, which is 33 seconds long, shows two riders engaging in an illegal race around 7 am. The incident is believed to have occurred at Kilometer 33, on the Senai North toll road, leading to Kilometer 31, the Johor Premium Outlet (JPO). The video also shows several individuals blocking the highway to aid the race, as well as some suspected individuals seen on the roadside after the race ended, with one of them burning tires in celebration.
