Pakistan-based JeM's terror base operational again

The Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), a UN-sanctioned terrorist organization based in Pakistan, has reportedly resumed operations at its Bahawalpur headquarters following extensive damage caused by India's Operation Sindoor strikes. The Markaz Subhanallah complex, which underwent a year-long reconstruction, has been brought back into service with new domes, interior plastering, paint, and marble flooring.

The facility's main complex, including the Al-Sabir seminary and residential buildings used by JeM leadership, was demolished to make way for the new construction. Pakistani authorities reportedly provided JeM with 250 million Pakistani rupees for the rebuilding process, with around 110 million rupees allocated for the central complex over 15 months.

The restoration has been carried out under the supervision of JeM chief Masood Azhar's brothers, Talha Al-Saif and Mohinuddin Aurangzeb, known as Ammar Alvi, as Azhar remains incapacitated due to health issues. Azhar and Rauf Asghar are currently under government protection in Nawabshah district of Sindh.
