Apple's smart home lineup has remained largely unchanged for years, but recent reports suggest the company is set to make a new move. Bloomberg and Apple's beta software both hint at an upcoming Home push, especially as Apple waits for its revamped Siri to be ready. Here's what we know so far:

Apple is reportedly working on several Home-related products, including a new Apple TV 4K HomePad, a HomePod-style device with a built-in display, a HomePod mini 2, a HomePod 3, a security camera, a video doorbell, and a tabletop robotic home hub. The new Apple TV 4K HomePad and HomePod mini 2 are said to launch this fall, while other devices may follow soon after.

Details about the HomePod with a built-in display, internally labeled "HomeAccessory," come from Engadget's analysis of a macOS 26.7 beta. The device, believed to be the long-rumored HomePod with a display, includes an interface centered on "Faces" and a "Face Gallery." This suggests a system with customizable faces, similar to Apple Watch, and features like Smart Stacks that change throughout the day.

Engadget also references reports suggesting the next-generation HomePod mini, codenamed B525, may bring modest updates, potentially including new color options. However, skepticism remains due to the lengthy rumor cycle surrounding Apple's home efforts.
