NEURA Robotics acquires ADLATUS to bring Physical AI to autonomous cleaning

NEURA Robotics is extending its Physical AI ecosystem by acquiring ADLATUS Robotics, a developer of autonomous cleaning robots. This acquisition brings a new dimension to their efforts to create a unified physical AI platform. NEURA Mobile Robots, a subsidiary of NEURA Robotics, has taken full control of ADLATUS. The company has been manufacturing cleaning robots for various sectors, including industry, logistics, healthcare, and public spaces.

ADLATUS boasts hundreds of systems in the market, its own navigation software, and expertise in real-world cleaning processes. NEURA will enhance ADLATUS systems with advanced sensors and AI capabilities, gradually integrating them into their Neuraverse. This platform allows diverse AI models, sensor data, and capabilities to work together, transforming individual robots into intelligent actors within a larger ecosystem.

NEURA's CEO, David Reger, emphasizes that the acquisition is not just about adding another cleaning robot but about giving these machines a new level of intelligence. Cleaning is a widespread global job and a prime example of how physical AI can transform industries. With this acquisition, NEURA aims to give robots the ability to understand their environment, recognize different surfaces and types of soiling, interpret situations, and select appropriate cleaning strategies.

The NEURA Group will provide ADLATUS with production expertise, an international sales network, and a technological platform. In return, ADLATUS brings valuable industry knowledge, established customer relationships, and years of experience in real-world cleaning applications. NEURA Robotics and ADLATUS have been collaborating strategically since September 2025.

Their first joint public appearance occurred at CMS in Berlin. Andreas Lindemann, Managing Director of NEURA Mobile Robots, highlights that expanding mobile robotics beyond traditional material handling is the next logical step. NEURA plans to integrate cleaning solutions into their Fleet Manager, offering additional applications for existing and new customers.

By acquiring ADLATUS, NEURA is strategically expanding its AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) portfolio and establishing cleaning robots as a core component of their offerings.
