Mumbai’s food scene meets its new viral raid master

As a state food safety commissioner, Mundhe has led over 3,000 raids since May, suspending the permits of Domino's, Pizza Hut, and various other establishments.

Despite facing criticism from some businesses, Mundhe remains committed to ensuring the safety of consumers. His team has found rats, expired food, and excessive pest activity during inspections, leading to the shutdown of several eateries.
