HAVI selects Kuala Lumpur for new global supply chain TechHUB

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – HAVI, a global supply chain leader, will soon open its first TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur, cementing Malaysia's status as a strategic hub for digital supply chain innovation in the region. Renowned for its AI-driven forecasting, data analytics, automation, and IoT-enabled fleet management solutions, the Kuala Lumpur facility will support more responsive and resilient logistics operations across Asia-Pacific.

Since March 2026, the TechHUB has already hired 50 technology professionals, with plans to expand to 100 by year-end, encompassing roles in demand forecasting, data analytics, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud operations, and change management. Reto Sahli, Chief Digital & Information Officer HAVI, revealed that the Kuala Lumpur hub will nurture Malaysian professionals to assume global roles in supply chain transformation, providing them exposure to global best practices while incorporating APAC market insights into digital tools tailored for fast-moving logistics.

The hub exemplifies HAVI's 'Follow the Sun' model, ensuring continuous progress and uninterrupted delivery through a seamless global team framework. HAVI's TechHUB network fosters talent upskilling in AI, analytics, automation, and cloud-based supply chain systems, alongside functional training in logistics operations and leadership development for professionals tackling regional and global mandates.

Malaysia's logistics and supply chain sector is experiencing rapid growth, with a market valued at USD29.70 billion in 2025, projected to reach USD40.11 billion by 2031. The TechHUB's timely establishment reinforces Kuala Lumpur's role as a strategic center for digital supply chain transformation in Asia Pacific and bolsters Malaysia's broader innovation ecosystem.
