Dubai: As of Monday, August 24, flight schedules throughout the UAE have resumed normal operations, with most services running as planned. Only a few delays or cancellations are currently being reported. Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, and flydubai are operating a combination of services to destinations such as Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. However, travelers should always verify their individual flight status before heading to the airport, as schedules may change at short notice. Dubai authorities are increasing operational readiness across airport checkpoints and passenger-processing areas, anticipating a busier period due to the return from summer holidays.

The Middle East conflict continues, with Washington preparing further sanctions against Iran. The US Treasury Secretary has described the planned measures as the "toughest sanctions in history," while Iran has condemned the move. Iran is seeking to deepen economic and security cooperation with neighboring countries to reduce the impact of US pressure. Dubai to Kuwait flights EK857 and EK858 are scheduled, while EK434 to Brisbane is delayed.

Etihad Airways has experienced operational and technical delays affecting some services. Flight EY406 from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok is delayed due to operational reasons, while the return EY407 from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi is also delayed. Etihad has also delayed flight EY042 from Amsterdam to Abu Dhabi due to a technical issue. Services between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain are operating as scheduled.

flydubai services to Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia are operating, although passengers should check their individual flight statuses as schedules remain subject to change. The airline advises passengers flying from Dubai to allow four hours before departure.

Air Arabia is reporting cancellations and pending departures on several UAE-Bahrain, UAE-Kuwait, and UAE-Qatar services. Abu Dhabi-Kuwait flight 3L020 is cancelled, while 3L022 is yet to depart. Kuwait to Abu Dhabi flight 3L021 is cancelled, and 3L023 is not yet departed. Abu Dhabi-Bahrain flights 3L015 and 3L017 have updated flight times, while 3L017 is not yet departed.

Sharjah-Bahrain flight G9107 is cancelled, while G9101, G9103, and G9105 are not yet departed. Bahrain to Sharjah flight G9108 is cancelled, along with G9102, G9104, and G9106, which are also not yet departed. Sharjah to Kuwait flights G9068 and G9124 are cancelled, while G9121 is not yet departed. Kuwait to Sharjah flights G9069 and G9125 are cancelled, along with G9122, which is not yet departed. Doha to Sharjah flight G9138 is cancelled, while Sharjah to Doha is also cancelled.
