FG releases 2026-2027 admission list for Federal Unity Colleges

The Federal Government has unveiled the 2026/2027 admission list for Federal Unity Colleges nationwide, directing successful candidates to commence the verification of their placements. Education Minister Dr Tunji Alausa approved the list and it is now accessible to parents and guardians via the Federal Ministry of Education's admission portal and the notice boards of the respective colleges.

The release aims to ensure a transparent and orderly admission process, reaffirming the government's commitment to accessible and equal opportunities for prospective students seeking placement in these institutions. To confirm their admission, candidates must print their admission slips and report to the designated Federal Unity College.

Parents and guardians are urged to promptly check their children's admission status and ensure successful candidates adhere to the reporting requirements. The list is based on the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination, which was conducted by the National Examinations Council, and follows the government's quota system to balance merit with principles of equality among states and other factors.

The Unity Colleges, spread across the country's six geopolitical zones, were established to promote national integration by providing access to secondary education for students from various parts of the nation.
