Elye Wahi arrives in Nice ahead of loan move from Eintracht Frankfurt

Elye Wahi touched down in Nice late last night in preparation for his loan move to Le Gym from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Ivory Coast international previously spent last season on loan at OGC Nice, where his goals played a crucial role in keeping the club in Ligue 1. After scoring the decisive goal in the promotion/relegation playoff against AS Saint-Étienne, Wahi expressed his gratitude and emotional state in an interview.

Unfortunately, due to Nice's financial situation, a buy option was not included in his previous loan deal. However, this time around, an agreement has been reached with Eintracht Frankfurt, and the loan will now include a €15m buy option, according to Nice-Matin. In a press conference on Saturday, Nice's manager Olivier Pantaloni stated that he was eager to sign a new attacking player, and plans to discuss the terms of the deal with his superiors.

Wahi arrived in Nice just hours after the press conference and is now expected to complete his return to the club.
