CDA Accuses Galaxy Enclave Islamabad of Illegal Development

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad has sent a show-cause notice to Galaxy Enclave in Zone-4, alleging violations of planning and development regulations. The authority claims that the development work and structures at the housing scheme on Lehtrar Road were carried out without obtaining an approved Layout Plan (LOP) or a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

CDA has ordered the developer to cease all development, marketing, sale, purchase, allotment, and transfer activities related to the scheme immediately. The company has been given seven days to respond and remove or demolish any unauthorized works and structures. If compliance is not achieved, the CDA threatens to demolish illegal structures, seal the scheme, and site offices.

Police assistance may be utilized to enforce these actions, with costs recovered from the responsible parties. CDA has also directed its relevant departments to prepare for action against structures built in violation of approved plans or on land set aside for public facilities. The notice was issued under the CDA Ordinance of 1960 and relevant Islamabad zoning and private housing scheme regulations.

ProPakistani contacted Galaxy Enclave for their official response, which will be shared if received.
