The family of Spanish businessman Juan José Mutilba, who went missing in Italian waters on Tuesday, has asked the Spanish Interior Ministry to help ensure Italian authorities do not abandon the search. Mutilba, 66, fell from his boat into the sea between Sicily and Greece while fishing. His wife was rescued on Friday and the boat was towed to Pilos, Greece, but the search for Mutilba remains active.
The family has requested the Spanish government's assistance in maintaining the search effort, citing concerns that it may be suspended before his body is found.
