Barosky stranded on Manchester streets, appeals for help to return to Ghana

Ghanaian musician Barosky has pleaded for aid to return to his homeland after being left without shelter in Manchester, United Kingdom. He made his plea while speaking to Okay FM's Nana Romeo, expressing the hardships he faces in the UK. Barosky disclosed that his current situation has left him without steady access to meals or a place to bathe, forcing him to rely on the generosity of strangers to meet his basic needs.

"I sleep on the street for now. I haven’t even bathed for some time now. People help me to feed," he shared.

Barosky also revealed that he has lost contact with his family in Ghana for an extended period and has no relatives in the UK who can provide him with accommodation or assistance. Although he requires a place to stay, he emphasized that returning to Ghana holds greater importance for him than finding accommodation in the UK. He noted that he has only a few friends in the country and no family members.

"I need a room, but if I had to choose between having a room and returning to Ghana, I would choose to come home. I want to return to Ghana. I don’t have any family here in the UK, just a few friends," he expressed.

Barosky gained recognition among Ghanaian music enthusiasts through his collaborations with Kofi Nti's Rakia and Ofori Amponsah's Toolege, among other projects.
