Agri-Impact Equips Apeguso Schools With Sickbay, ICT Centre

Agri-Impact Group Limited, an agribusiness firm, has provided two schools in the Apeguso area of the Eastern Region with essential facilities to improve access to healthcare and digital learning. The firm equipped Apeguso Senior High School (SHS) with a sickbay and furnished an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) centre with internet connectivity for Apeguso Presbyterian Junior High School.

The IT centre aims to equip students with computers, internet access, and digital skills. Dr. Daniel Fahene Acquaye, the CEO of Agri-Impact, explained that the sickbay was a priority due to the absence of healthcare facilities in large schools. The ICT centre's provision is designed to give students practical digital skills and access to educational resources.

Dr. Acquaye also announced that the company would bear the annual internet subscription fees, ensuring consistent connectivity. The CEO linked the initiatives to his mother’s passing anniversary, encouraging the community to utilize these resources. The Apeguso Traditional Area's Makrado, Nana Dedey Akwei II, praised the company for these efforts, especially the internet connectivity, urging the beneficiaries to make full use of the facilities and promoting their regular maintenance.
