AEW’s Will Ospreay Opens Up About Married Life, Terrifying Injury & ‘All In’ Main Event

AEW's Will Ospreay discussed his life after a life-threatening neck surgery in an interview ahead of his main event match against Kenny Omega at All In. The "Aerial Assassin" faced a difficult year, as he contemplated his future after a herniated disc injury that required neck surgery. Will trained tirelessly to make a comeback and eventually returned to wrestling in March, now set to compete in the AEW World Championship match against Omega in front of a sold-out crowd at historic Wembley Stadium.

The 33-year-old wrestler credited his wife, Alex Windsor, with being a crucial source of support during his recovery. She had also faced significant injuries in her career, including an ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery, and played a pivotal role in helping Will regain his confidence. Will spoke highly of their relationship, stating that becoming a married couple has strengthened their bond and diminished any insecurities they may have had.

He also shared about their role as step-parents to their stepson, Harrison, and how their strong connection has grown through their shared experiences and humor.
