Toxic advance booking: Yash’s film crosses Rs 27 cr milestone; over 4.7 lakh tickets sold

Kannada action thriller Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups, starring Yash, is generating buzz at the domestic box office even before its release. The advance booking for the film is soaring, with the Kannada version leading the pack. Within just two days, the film has amassed an impressive Rs 18.73 crore in advance bookings. A significant portion of this figure, Rs 9.59 crore, comes from the Kannada version alone.

The film's success is further bolstered by its distribution in various formats, including the Kannada IMAX 2D (Rs 63.97 lakh) and 4DX (Rs 19.10 lakh) versions. The Hindi 2D, IMAX 2D, and 4DX formats, as well as the Dolby Cine format, have also contributed Rs 7.65 crore, Rs 20.29 lakh, Rs 14.12 lakh, and Rs 43,400 respectively. The total advance booking, when combined with block booking, stands at a substantial Rs 27.29 crore from over 4.7 lakh tickets sold across India.

The film's overseas performance, particularly in the US, has set a benchmark at $146,251. With a projected domestic Hindi opening in the Rs 30 crore+ range, Toxic is on track to breach the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
