The Knueppel/Noordgard Family Tree Is Just Full Of Hoopsters

The Knueppel family, particularly the Knueppel/Noordgard branch, has produced numerous basketball talent. Kon Knueppel, currently a player at Wisconsin Lutheran, is part of a lineage where his parents also played the sport, as do four of his brothers. His younger brother Kager has committed to Duke University. Kon's uncle, Tod Kowalczyk, coaches the Toledo basketball team, and another uncle, Klay Knueppel, oversees the women's basketball squad at Wisconsin Lutheran.

Additionally, a third uncle, Jeff Nordgaard, enjoyed an NBA career. The family's basketball prowess extends to Kon's cousin, Zavier Zens, a 6-7 freshman at Illinois who played for Wisconsin Lutheran and averaged impressive statistics in his senior year, including 23.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. This successful basketball lineage has contributed to Wisconsin Lutheran's consecutive state titles, with the hope of achieving another in the near future.
