Rahul Gandhi’s popularity will restore Cong. glory in A.P.: ex-Union Minister

Former Union Minister and Congress senior leader Killi Kruparani declared on Sunday that the party would regain its glory in Andhra Pradesh, as Opposition Leader in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is winning the hearts of the youth through his innovative programs. Speaking at a media conference in Srikakulam alongside party senior leader Killi Rammohana Rao, she expressed confidence that the party would secure notable wins in the upcoming local body elections, which are imminent.

Kruparani pointed out that the NDA parties have been unsuccessful in connecting with the public over the past two years, despite maintaining both central and state governments. She highlighted Rahul Gandhi's "Chhatron Ki Goonj" program as a standout initiative that resonated with young citizens, who are frustrated by examination irregularities, widespread joblessness, and other challenges.

The former minister expressed optimism that Rahul Gandhi would soon conduct such programs in various cities across Andhra Pradesh to further engage and address the concerns of students.
