‘Put Abhijeet Dipke’s photos in office’: Sanjay Raut's dig at Fadnavis over Gen Z outreach

Sanjay Raut, a leader from the Shiv Sena (UBT) party, criticized Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and other BJP leaders for their efforts to reach out to Gen Z, suggesting they should display the photos of Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party. Raut argued that Dipke had helped these leaders become aware of the concerns faced by the younger generation.

This comment came after student protests in Delhi and other parts of the country, prompting the Maharashtra government to engage more with the Gen Z demographic. Fadnavis attended a youth program in Nagpur, where he promised support to the youth and unveiled plans for job fairs and a policy for the startup ecosystem. Raut also dismissed the BJP's criticism of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's "Chhatron ki Goonj" event, arguing that the BJP's Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana, which provided financial support to women, was more significant for women's empowerment.
