Police have detained eight individuals in connection with an investigation into a road incident that occurred on the Lebuhraya Linkedua, following the closure of the road for a banned race event. Kulai Police Chief Tan Seng Lee stated that all suspects, aged between 26 and 45, will be brought to Kulai High Court tomorrow under Section 117 of the Code of Procedure for Criminal Procedure, according to Sinar Harian.

Earlier, police monitored a video circulating on Facebook showing two motorcycles with unknown registration numbers and types, competing against each other from KM33, crossing the Senai North Toll to KM31, and then reaching Johor Premium Outlet (JPO). He also mentioned that his team is trying to locate other individuals present at the scene and witness the act. Further investigations are ongoing to identify all individuals involved, he added.
