'New season, new trim' - Haaland reveals buzzcut

Erling Haaland, Manchester City's Premier League striker, has embraced a fresh look for the new season - a buzzcut. In contrast to the iconic man buns of past footballers like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gareth Bale, Haaland has exchanged his blonde hair for a military-style cut.

On social media, Haaland shared his transformation, jokingly displaying images of his previous hairstyles and expressing his nervousness about the change. He revealed that former City manager Pep Guardiola had joked, "You look about 10 years old. That is hilarious," while teammate Jack Grealish called the new look "good" and "change is good."

However, Haaland's impulsive haircut drew criticism from a few quarters. Ibrahimovic, who had previously advised Haaland against cutting his long hair, questioned whether Haaland had made a bet or not, even threatening to block him on social media.
