National Space Day: PM Modi hails India’s space journey, salutes Chandrayaan-3 success

National Space Day on Sunday marked a milestone in India's space exploration journey as Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the country's achievements, particularly the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 near the Moon's south pole. In a post on X, Modi urged the nation to "dream even bigger, innovate more, and push newer frontiers" in space exploration.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah joined the celebrations, praising the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists for their "indelible imprint of genius" on the sands of time. The historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 was recalled as a testament to the success of Prime Minister Modi's vision of positioning India as a leader in space.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also paid tribute to India's scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs, emphasizing that their work was expanding the country's capabilities in space. He encouraged the nation to salute the young talent whose vision, innovation, and perseverance continue to advance India towards "Viksit Bharat."

Union Minister Jitendra Singh credited the success of Chandrayaan-3 to the country's scientists and innovators, stating that it had placed India among the world's leading spacefaring nations. The Prime Minister's vision was credited for inspiring generations of Indians to achieve greater heights in space exploration.
