[Korea travels] Island escape without the ferry: 3 Incheon islands to explore

On July 14, Incheon's Sin-do Peace Bridge opened, connecting Incheon’s Sin-do and Yeongjong-do islands. This four-lane bridge spans 3.26 kilometers and is 13.5 meters wide. The bridge has improved access to the three islands of Incheon, dubbed the "three island brothers." Sin-do is known for hiking, Si-do for beaches, and Mo-do for artwork.

Each island has a distinct charm, with Sin-do featuring Mount Gubong, Si-do offering Sugi Beach and a café, and Mo-do housing Baemikkumi Sculpture Park. Sin-do's name comes from the Chinese character for trust, Si-do from the character for arrow, and Mo-do from the character for cogon grass.
