Hina Javed murder: Pakistan’s First Lady Aseefa seeks probe as husband held

Dubai: Pakistan's First Lady Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari has called for a comprehensive investigation into the murder of Hina Javed, whose body was discovered in her Rawalpindi apartment on Thursday evening. Hina's body was found in the washroom with signs of torture and a wire around her neck tied to the shower rod. Police have detained her husband and a domestic servant, while her father-in-law has been questioned.

Aseefa expressed deep concern over the brutal murder and urged the Punjab government to conduct a thorough inquiry and bring the perpetrators to justice. She warned that such acts must be made examples of to deter others.
