Four Ethiopians arrested in Jazan for smuggling 160 kg of khat

Border Guard patrols in Jazan's Al-Daer sector have arrested four Ethiopian nationals for smuggling 160 kg of khat, according to a statement on the Border Guard's official X account. The suspects were apprehended while allegedly violating border security regulations and attempting to transport the narcotic plant. Initial legal procedures have been completed against the detainees, and both the suspects and the seized khat have been handed over to the competent authorities.

Security authorities have urged citizens and residents to report any information regarding drug smuggling or trafficking activities by contacting designated numbers in various regions of the Kingdom.
