Ex-Remo Stars captain joins India’s SC Delhi

SC Delhi has secured the signing of former Remo Stars captain Junior Nduka on a one-year contract, with an option for a further season, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. The 23-year-old Nigerian international has joined the capital side ahead of the Indian Super League 2026/27 season, set to commence on October 10, as the club's star foreign player.

Nduka, who began his career at Remo Stars, was crowned captain at the age of a teenager and guided the team to victory in the Nigeria Premier Football League in 2025. Prior to joining Al-Najaf FC in Iraq, Nduka had a stint with Erbil SC in the Iraq Stars League, where he signed for a five-year deal. In his brief time in Iraq, he made 26 appearances during the 2024/25 season.

Although Nduka received his first call-up to the Nigeria national team in May 2025 for friendlies against Jamaica and Ghana, he did not feature on the field. He did, however, captain Nigeria at the African Nations Championship in August 2025, participating in matches against Senegal, Sudan, and Congo.
