ANJET to honour Radisson Hotel Group, Owoyemi at annual tourism conference

The Association of Nigerian Journalists and Writers of Tourism (ANJET) will honor the Radisson Group and Chief Tajudeen Owoyemi, Chairman of the Avalon Group, among others, as part of the festivities for their 2026 conference and awards. The event, themed "Nigerian tourism industry and Tinubu administration’s immigration reforms," is scheduled to take place in October at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

ANJET President Okorie Uguru revealed that Owoyemi and the Radisson Group have been acknowledged for their significant contributions to the Nigerian hospitality ecosystem over the past 25 years. Owoyemi's influence and efforts in shaping the hospitality landscape in Nigeria have been remarkable, with his establishment of top-notch hospitality establishments such as the Avalon Hotel Offa, which set new standards for facilities and services in the industry. Despite their substantial impact, Owoyemi has consistently remained relatively unknown and unsung.
