ANC has proven its commitment to fighting corruption: Ramaphosa

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa has stated that the party has demonstrated its dedication to combating corruption within the ANC and the broader nation. During an address to party members and supporters at the party's Manifesto launch in Dieplsoot, Northern Johannesburg, Ramaphosa highlighted the measures taken by the ANC to address corruption and patronage.

These include the step-aside resolution, strengthening of the integrity commission, and the establishment of the Madlanga Commission, which was initiated by the ANC-led government. The party recently unveiled its manifesto in preparation for the upcoming local government elections, which are scheduled to take place in less than 100 days.

Ramaphosa emphasized that the ANC-led government is actively working to rebuild law enforcement and anti-corruption institutions, bringing cases of state capture and corruption before the courts. The Madlanga Commission, as established by the ANC-led government, is providing insights into the misconduct within the police service, with the ultimate goal of eradicating corrupt activities.
