‘Adding a few floors’: Anand Pandit shares renovation details on Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat

Anand Pandit, a prominent Bollywood producer, is also involved in the real estate business. He founded Shri Lotus Developers and Realty in the early 2000s and has since worked with numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Hrithik Roshan. Pandit's company is currently renovating the iconic Mannat bungalow in Mumbai, owned by Shah Rukh Khan.

The renovation involves adding a few floors to the back portion of the property. Shah Rukh Khan, along with his family, is renting luxury duplex apartments nearby during the construction process. The producer revealed that he had already expressed interest in redeveloping another property of Shah Rukh before learning about his emotional connection to Mannat.

When discussing redevelopment plans for another property, Shah Rukh mentioned Shree Amrit Society, where he initially purchased his first apartment in Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan's Mumbai properties, including Mannat, are undergoing various changes, with the sea-facing bungalow set to receive a vertical extension and additional floors.

The redevelopment is expected to increase the total built-up area by 616.02 square meters, costing around Rs 25 crore.
