Yari leads APC 108-member campaign council for Tinubu’s re-election

Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara West has accepted his role as Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 elections, according to a statement released on Saturday in Abuja. The senator expressed profound gratitude and acknowledged the gravity of the responsibility bestowed upon him.

He conveyed his sincere thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party for the trust placed in him, as well as to the party leadership for their confidence in him. Yari emphasized that the campaign is more than just an election; it is a conversation with the Nigerian people across all states, languages, and faiths about the future they are collectively building.

He pledged that the campaign would be conducted with discipline, unity, and respect for all, stating that work would commence immediately and that there is a role for everyone. To fellow Nigerians of differing political allegiances, Yari urged them to choose progress over division, asserting that the party would earn public confidence through its track record rather than through noise.

Concluding his statement, Yari declared that, with the grace of God and the collective effort of all, victory would be secured in January 2027.
