Pape Matar Sarr deletes Instagram posts about Spurs as he is told to leave

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Matar Sarr has taken down all social media posts related to the club following a directive to leave, according to Sky Sports Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The club has informed the Senegal international that he is on the transfer market, which has not been met with satisfaction. His Instagram account is devoid of any content associated with Tottenham, and he has also altered his bio.

The 23-year-old is currently in Roberto De Zerbi's pecking order, having started 13 Premier League games last season and making 13 substitute appearances. However, Tottenham's inability to secure a European spot implies fewer opportunities for Sarr in the upcoming season. Galatasaray is interested in signing Sarr, with an €18 million offer already submitted, but Tottenham demands at least €25 million.

Galatasaray is optimistic about reaching an agreement over personal terms with the midfielder. Sarr's decision to remove references to Tottenham from his social media is a strong indication that he is nearing the end of his four-year stint at the club.
