North Korea says record-high Japan defence budget would risk 'turmoil'

North Korea has expressed concern over Japan's planned record-high defence budget, warning it could spark regional turmoil. Meanwhile, the United States is seeking engagement with North Korea, while North Korea's ally, China, has expressed alarm at Japan's growing militarism. North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un is set to meet President Donald Trump this year, amid ongoing security concerns in East Asia.
