‘Do not involve me in political drama’: Pune student amid ABVP, NSUI clash

A COEP engineering college student has released two videos, expressing her refusal to be involved in political drama following a clash between ABVP and NSUI activists. The girl, from OBC orphan category, apologized in her first video, admitting she had been manipulated to make a statement to a news channel. This led to a fight between the two groups.

The girl thanked Rahul Gandhi in her second video but refused to meet him, stating she is not in a state of mind to engage in politics. A 19-year-old ABVP student filed an FIR accusing NSUI and Congress activists of pressuring a COEP girl to make the video statement. Police booked several NSUI and Congress workers, with both sides filing cross-complaints.
