Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka introduces his ‘new avatar’ on 71st birthday. Watch teaser

Chiranjeevi, the veteran actor, is set to unveil his "new avatar" on his 71st birthday with the release of his upcoming film Kaaka. The movie, directed by Bobby Kolli, marks the first production under KVN Productions banner.

The teaser, released on Chiranjeevi's birthday, introduces him as Supervisor Satyam, an employee at Ammaji Aqua Industries in Ravulapalem. The film takes the audience through a character study of Satyam's life, showcasing the daily grind of a coastal workplace, before shifting to intense action sequences.

The film is expected to explore the emotional bond between a father and his daughter, with Anaswara Rajan playing the daughter role. Nivetha Pethuraj and Priyamani are also rumoured to be part of the cast. Chiranjeevi is set to play a character closer to his real age, marking a departure from his previous age-defying roles.

S Thaman is composing the music and background score for the film, while Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer. Antony L Ruben handles editing, and Kolla Avinash is the art director. The shoot is currently underway in Hyderabad, with the film slated for a Sankranti 2027 release on January 13.
