Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have secured their spot in the 2026 WNBA playoffs. Following Toronto's 82-79 victory over Portland, the Fever's 24-13 record officially qualified them for postseason play. This marks the third consecutive season in which the Fever have made it to the playoffs.

The Indiana Fever are aiming for their second WNBA championship. A standout July, where the Fever compiled an 8-2 record, propelled Indiana toward the postseason. Prior to a loss to the Dallas Wings on August 21, the Fever had won five straight games and 10 of their past 12 contests.

Caitlin Clark has been instrumental in the Fever's success this season. She has set multiple league and franchise records while averaging 21.7 points and 8.3 assists per contest. Clark also shoots 44.4% from the field and 35.4% from three-point range. With seven regular-season games remaining, including a matchup against the New York Liberty on Saturday, the Fever could end the season as the No. 4 seed.

If the season were to conclude today, the Fever and Atlanta Dream would split their season series 2-2, with the Fever potentially facing Atlanta in the first round of the playoffs.
