Bersama sasar lonjakan sokongan 15% di Melaka

Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) aims to secure a minimum of 15% voter support for the Melaka PRN election, according to party leader Rafizi Ramli. This target is considered a crucial step towards increasing the party's national stature to around 20% before the 2016 general election. To achieve this, Rafizi emphasizes a rebranding strategy focused on digital proficiency, grassroots support, and a non-traditional command structure.

The recent surge in support from 3% to 6% in Johor indicates that Bersama is well-positioned to become a major player in Malaysia's political landscape. If they can push this support to 15% in Melaka and approach 20% nationally, Bersama will automatically become a dominant force comparable to large alliances such as Pakatan Harapan, Barisan Nasional, and Perikatan Nasional.

Rafizi noted that voters who make up over 30% of the electorate will view the party as the primary alternative to the entrenched political compromise and coalition-building at the top. Currently, Bersama has received around 300 applications from interested individuals seeking to become candidates in Selangor and the federal territories.

The selection process now follows a strict internal guideline before an official list is announced earlier than usual. Rafizi explained that once the shortlist is finalized and reviewed, they will match candidates accordingly to achieve the best possible outcome. Last week, Rafizi reportedly announced 15 candidates to contest in the Melaka PRN election.
