원광디지털대 대학원 자연건강학과, ‘Zero to Top’ 연구 역량 강화 특강 개최...연구 주제 선정부터 AI 활용 논문 작성법까지

The Graduate School of Natural Health at Wonkwang Digital University concluded its "Zero to Top" research capacity strengthening special lecture series, aimed at enhancing the research abilities of graduate students. This special lecture series took place from January 1st to January 19th, both on the university's Seoul campus and through online sessions using Zoom.

The lectures were designed for beginners, allowing them to gradually acquire essential skills for conducting research, including research methodology, paper writing, and statistical analysis.

The inaugural lecture on January 1st, held at the Seoul campus, was led by Professor You Sukhee, who explained the fundamental concepts of qualitative and quantitative research, as well as the practical criteria for selecting appropriate research methodologies based on research objectives. Professor Won Eunghye, the following day, shared her expertise on incorporating AI into paper writing, emphasizing effective utilization of generative AI in the research process and strategies to boost the efficiency of paper writing.

On January 12th and 19th, Professor Yoon Sunhee, a research and paper consultation expert, conducted online lectures. On January 12th, she covered topics such as understanding paper writing strategies and fundamental statistical analysis methods, including interpreting and applying statistical data in papers. On January 19th, she delved into case study analysis for paper writing, searching and utilizing research papers, as well as effective note-taking and citing practices for enhancing research outcomes.

What set this special lecture series apart was its focus on providing practical skills applicable throughout all stages of research, from foundational concepts to paper writing, statistical analysis, and the use of generative AI. University President You Hyunhee emphasized that the "Zero to Top" research capacity strengthening special lecture series aimed to instill confidence in graduate students and equip them with a systematic approach to preparing papers.

She pledged ongoing support for research capacity building and academic growth through various educational programs tailored to the evolving research landscape.
